The mission of Amanda Martocchio Architecture (AMA) is to design environments that enhance people’s lives and inspire a feeling of wellness.
We design purposefully conceived spaces with thoughtfully integrated materials and edited details. Central to our work is protecting the earth’s resources and reducing our carbon footprint.
We are listeners and we prioritize understanding each client’s specific circumstances and personal aspirations. Our collaborative and iterative process results in an optimal design solution that solves our clients’ aesthetic, functional, and budgetary criteria. We assist with the selection of a well-suited builder and are actively engaged during construction through the completion of the project.
Our work has been published frequently and has earned multiple design awards, including LEED certification, the American Institute of Architect’s 2023 Connecticut Women in Architecture Award, and the 2011 Connecticut Emerging Architectural Firm Award.
